After years of research, education, and trying almost every fitness product/book/system out there, I’ve concluded that every successful fitness system (i.e. produces body transforming fitness results) I’ve encountered consists of sound:
- Motivational exercises
- Exercising consistently
- Nutritional plans
Only with “M.E.N.” (acronym from above), can we women get the fitness results that we so desire, whether that’s weight loss, staying fit/healthy, or having your booty look oh-so-sexy in your skinny jeans.
- More Reasons to Exercise = More Exercising. Get enough reasons why, and you’ll have more than enough follow through to accomplish all of your fitness goals. On the first day of Booty Camp, our participates have a “fitness assessment” (measurements of body fat, girth, and weight), and fill in a fitness questionnaire (e.g. how many push-ups, plank, etc.) to stay motivated to exercise
- My Personal Commitment to Success. Each participate signs a “personal commitment to success” one page contract and posts it some where they can see it and everyday. The “commitment” states they will workout 3x per week, eat at least 1 having healthy meal, and achieve their realistic goal.
- Set a Goal to Challenge Yourself and Reap a BIG Reward. Every participate is encouraged to enter BCF’s New You Challenge. The 1st place winner could win a $5,000 shopping spree with Image Consultants and a complete make-over (clothes, hair, make-up, pedicures, etc.)! The winner is equally determined by the best transformational:
- Body photos (i.e. best contrasting before and after photos)
- Measurements (i.e. most inches, weight, and body fat percentage lost)
- Story (i.e. short essay about inner and outer transformation)
- 3x Workouts per Week = Optimal Fitness. Several scientific studies show optimal fitness is achieved by exercising 3x/week. But nowadays too few of us have 3 evenings/week free, right? So with BCF, participates attend Booty Camp 2x/week and working out at home with BCF’s “At Home Workout DVD” only 1x/week, virtually guarantying participates:
- Up to 16 lbs weight reduction
- 1 - 6 inches reduced in your thighs, midsection, and arms
- 100% gain in confidence
- Muscle is Metabolism. Lifting weights or body sculpting isn’t enough, you need to challenge your muscles by working them harder and harder each time. Progressive strength training can be done with bands, free weights, or machines – all that matters is that it’s challenging enough to force the muscles to make improvements and that it’s progressive
- FORGET Walking for 60 Minutes Every Day. Who has time for that? 10-15 minute of high intensity interval training (HIIT) cardio workouts burn more fat. Plus, if your goal is fat loss you’ll do much better by working hard for 10-20 minutes a few times a week.
- STOP Storing New Fat. We don’t gain weight because of a lack of exercise, we get fat because we eat too much at one time. The key is to give your body the right amount at the right time. The human body burns calories (energy) 24 hours a day, yet we tend to supply all of our energy in two or three large servings. Instead eat five to six smaller servings every 2 hours.
- Have a Cheat Day. After eating healthy nutritious food choices for six days, it’s time for the one day of the week where you can eat whatever you want: cheat day. That’s right, any type of junk food (chocolate, ice cream, etc.) are back on the menu for “cheat day”. By eating high calorie foods one day a week you’ll “shock” your body and cause your metabolism to rise for the day and the following week. Plus, you’ll be so much happier not eating junk food for the six days after “cheat day”.
