My name is Catherine and I can't wait to meet you! I am so excited to be your Booty Camp instructor. When I came across the Booty Camp Fitness website I immediately knew that this was something I wanted to do. I am truly passionate about fitness and look forward to motivate, educate and inspire you to achieve all your fitness goals.
My philosophy on fitness is that working out and eating right should not be something you do only when you have time or for 3 weeks before you need to be in a bikini...it needs to be part of your lifestyle! We must make what is important to us a priority in our lives and if feeling good, having more energy and staying healthy is important to you then exercise should be a priority and not last on your list of things to do!
My passion for fitness began at a young age. I was captain of numerous sports teams in high school including soccer, basketball, volleyball, touch football and tennis. When the time came to go to University I knew I wanted to study something to do with health and fitness. I now have two University Degrees. One in Exercise Science and the other in Physiotherapy. I have been working as a certified personal trainer for the past 7 years. I continually keep myself challenged and motivated by attending courses and seminars to deepen my knowledge and expand my areas of expertise. I have been a group fitness instructor for the past 5 years. Teaching classes is what got me through my six and a half years of University. After a long day of studying I always looked forward to letting loose, releasing some stress and having fun with my participants.
My hobbies include working out, playing soccer, traveling, reading and cooking. I am always on the lookout for healthy new recipes and have become a master at turning any meal into a healthy delight. I love discovering and creating new exercises and routines. This keeps me motivated and my body challenged. I hope to one day take my fitness level to new heights and compete in a fitness competition.
Helping other women achieve their goals has made my career as a fitness professional very rewarding and I look forward to working with all of you very soon!
