My name is Katherine Sencar and I am absolutely thrilled to bring my love and passion for fitness as a Booty Camp Instructor!
I cannot wait to meet all the dedicated women and help you reach your fitness and nutrition goals! A little about me, I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, as well as an honours diploma in Pre-Service Firefighter Education & Training Program from Georgian College.
My fitness background includes Can Fit Pro personal trainer specialist, Boot Camp University instructor, Spinning instructor, Advanced exercise nutrition, Red Cross instructor & Strength and Conditioning expert.
Fitness, health, nutrition, passion, fun, and sweat are a part of my everyday life!! I want to pass on that energy to you at Booty Camp!
As a woman, I know what it feels like to struggle with weight and self-esteem. This is why I am passionate for being involved in women's fitness. I strive to help women of all ages and size, realize their own potential by coaching, training, and instructing through motivation and positive experiences. By teaching women, using my knowledge of nutrition, cardio and weights, I give my full energy so you too can realize how you can transform your body into a strong, confident woman. In return, you give your energy back to me, so everyone feels the love of fitness, fun, and health!

As a Booty Camp Instructor, I strive to help women achieve their fitness goals through fun and of course, hard work! I am looking forward to enjoying the great outdoors with a group of dedicated women participating in the F word - Fitness! See you there and do not forget your smile :)
I am wild about fitness!! I am active all year round. In the winter, I enjoy skiing at Blue Mountain, my home stomping grounds. I am an avid cyclist and mountain biker. I completed the 2 day, 200km bike ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls, called The Ride To Conquer Cancer. I also raised funds over $2700 for cancer research for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. I am a strong supporter in the fight against cancer, namely breast and ovarian. Pink is both the beautiful colour in cancer support, as well as the colour of choice at Booty Camp! Love it!
I have also recently completed 2 full marathons for running. I ran the first in October, 2008 in Morganton, NC and in January, 2009 I ran the Walt Disney World marathon, which was so much fun. Both runs were completed in less than 5 hours, and I am very proud of this feat. Next up: A Triathlon!!
The gym is my second home, where I lift weights, row and swim. I also find time to indoor rock climb because it is an amazing challenge and awesome workout! As a Firefighter, I have competed in various Combat Challenges, both on a team and individually. Lastly, on the lighter side, I have just started to participate in yoga classes and feel that it really cools my spirit and relaxes my mind.
I love living a life full of activity and health!!
I love to travel! I lived in Oslo, Norway for 6 months for a business exchange program and had the time of my life! I also travelled to other destinations in Europe, including Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, France, and Amsterdam! I have travelled a lot of the United States, attending sporting events. I love Canada!, and all it has to offer me!
I also love to cook and read. In June, 2009, I became vegan! Sammie Kennedy, the creator of Booty Camp Fitness, suggested to me I read The China Study. After reading that, I totally changed my nutrition. It was a great challenge at first, but I feel great!!! I love to make new and exciting recipes that are both delicious and nutritious!
I love to read. Oxygen magazine is one of my favourites. I also enjoy reading Stephen King books, and anything to do with Fitness books!
I enjoy life everyday, embracing what this world throws at me!!
