My name is Dena Ryde and I am a full time certified personal trainer, medical exercise specialist, pre and post natal specialist and now I am YOUR Bootycamp instructor! I am so excited to help you meet and exceed your fitness goals and we'll have fun doing it.

I have been a personal trainer for 7 years and fitness has always been a part of my life. I want to share with you a success story that is that of one of my clients rather than me. My client (we'll call her Suzanne) had never before exercised and had always battled with carrying a large number of unhealthy pounds. She contacted me when her doctor told her she had better start exercising or risk having to take insulin for Type 2 diabetes - pretty scary stuff! So we began by just walking and at a slow pace. We then built to a faster pace, started weight training and cleaned up her diet. She has since lost over 60lbs, weight trains regularly and has been able to reduce her blood sugar so she doesn't have to take insulin. Her new goal is to climb the CN Tower! I wanted to share her story with all of you because amazing, courageous people like her are what inspire and motivate me to keep doing what I do – I hope you can be inspired by her story too!
During the day I am a full time personal trainer at The Adelaide Club downtown Toronto. I have been there for 6 years and I love it!
In my free time I love to rollerblade, run and downhill ski. When all the activity has worn me out I enjoy relaxing with a good book, spending time with friends or just kicking back and listening to some good tunes!
