Hey Ladies,

Are you ready to cut inches, lose weight, increase your energy level, meet friends and have a blast doing it? If YES, then Booty Camp is the place for you. My name is Jodie and I am proud to be a part of the Booty Camp Team. I currently hold certification as a personal trainer with Can-Fit-Pro and I am also a secondary school teacher. I can't wait to meet you all at Booty Camp in Barrhaven! What better way to get a great workout than to get outside, away from the usual gym setting with a group of amazing women who all share the common goal of taking care of their body and mind. No matter what your current fitness level is you can expect to be in significantly better shape at the end of your session as long as you stick with it and give it your all!

Make the Time

Most women wish there were more hours in a day. There always seems to be too much to do and not enough time. But the most important thing is often overlooked or forgotten. Wondering what I'm talking about? Mothers, daughters, grand mothers, aunts, nieces, all you women out there, I'm talking about you!! We are usually so busy worrying about everyone else and their needs that we forget about ourselves! It's time to start taking care of YOU. Make fitness a priority today!! Exercise will keep your energy levels up so you can be more productive during the day and help you sleep better at night.

Fitness is a lifestyle!!

Fitness has always been a part of my life. As a child and adolescent I stayed active by being involved in basketball, soccer, cheerleading, swimming and skating. While still in high school I decided to join a local fitness club to maintain my active lifestyle. At the gym I began to work not only on my cardiovascular training but also on my strength and resistance training. I learned how to us the weight machines and liked the results I was getting. I started to attend some of the group classes offered at the gym and found a class that I just couldn’t get enough of. The instructor was fabulous! She was informative, friendly, and very motivating. I learned so much. But above all, the group atmosphere made me push myself harder and gave me the best workout I’d ever had. I was hooked!!

Spice it up!!

It was around that time that I learned two key components to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle: 1) Change 2) Fun. Your body will eventually adjust and adapt to your workout routine. If you change things up, your body will not have time to adapt which will ultimately keep it challenged. Secondly, if you are not enjoying your workout, you are more likely to lose interest and find something else to do with your time. As long as you are having fun you will not want to miss out.

When I'm not at Booty Camp...

I could be anywhere. I love to travel every chance I get. But no matter where I go, I find a way to be active. If I'm near water I love to swim, if there is a trail I will go for a hike, if there is a beach I will walk or jog. I've tried rock climbing and ice skating on a cruise ship or if I have room, I take my rollerblades with me. When all else fails I hit the gym. Asides from travel, I enjoy playing golf, camping, and of course, shopping!
